Excelling as a Fastpitch Softball Pitcher requires attention to detail that only an accomplished and knowledgeable Pitching Instructor can provide. Hello! My name is Linnea Utecht, and I believe learning the proper fundamentals of pitching from DAY 1 is essential to the success of a Pitcher. I have a rich history of producing outstanding, noteworthy student-athletes who find success on and off the field.

Linnea believes proper technique is the building block upon which speed, accuracy, and movement is gained. She is adamant about instilling correct fundamentals, perfecting the player's technique before moving on to learning new pitches. Linnea provides each of her student-athletes with the individual guidance they need to reach their highest potential. A former high school and college stand-out, and now a decorated triathlete, Linnea doesn't just ask for greatness from her pitchers, she demands it of herself. Only someone who chases her own dreams with unrelenting determination can inspire young female athletes to achieve their own personal goals! Based primarily in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, but happy to serve any pitcher willing to travel to the Fox Valley for lessons and/or clinics!
As star pitcher at Lourdes High School in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Lauren Schiek helped turn the program around, leading her team to their first conference championship in school history. Lauren used her devastating change-up and moving pitches to make Lourdes a force to be reckoned with, and earned MVP honors all four years while serving as Team Captain. She holds the state record for strikeouts in a game (20). Her travel ball career was equally illustrious, earning Schiek the honor of being named USSSA Best Player in Fast Pitch. Schiek went on to play Division I college softball at Santa Clara University (two seasons), and Abilene Christian University (fall 2021) . Her strong work ethic remains second to none, and Lauren prides herself on being fearless, focused, and limitless.
