A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Growing up, I loved being a part of teams and competing in sports. I loved setting goals and reaching them, and loved the satisfaction I got from seeing my hard work pay off. When I was 10, Fastpitch Softball became my identity and focus, and the mound became my home. Softball opened many doors for me, and took me all across the United States. I played college softball at Oakland University and then went on to coach in the NCAA for seven years. After marrying my Canadian fiancé I moved to Canada, where I spent the next seven years as a letter carrier for Canada Post in Calgary, Alberta.  In 2020 my wife and I moved to my home town of Oshkosh where I started up Nucleus Pitching Academy. 

I have been blessed to learn so many valuable life lessons through sport, and still have that same competitive drive that I did as a kid (I now enjoy challenging myself in the sport of triathlon!). I look forward to working with many young athletes as they begin or continue on in their journey with Fastpitch Softball. Welcome to Nucleus Pitching Academy!
