A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Growing up, I loved being a part of teams and competing in sports. I loved setting goals and reaching them, loved the satisfaction I got from seeing my hard work pay off. When I was 10, Fastpitch Softball became my identity and focus, and the mound became my home. Softball opened many doors for me, and took me all across the United States. Following a seven year coaching career in the NCAA I moved back home to Wisconsin to continue coaching the girls that my father, Denis Utecht, had been giving lessons to before his unexpected passing. His legacy continues today as many of his pitchers received scholarships to play in the NCAA. I was blessed to inherit many talented pitchers, while getting new young athletes started on their careers as well. I've learned so many valuable life lessons from the sport, and still have that same competitive drive that I did as a kid (I now enjoy challenging myself in the sport of triathlon!). I am now upholding the same foundation of successful instruction that was started years ago, just under a new name. I look forward to working with many young athletes as they begin or continue on in their journey with Fastpitch Softball. Let's build Nucleus Pitching Academy together!
